Just recently moved out of a loft apartment. The apartment aesthetic is pleasing! When I first moved in I had a really bad German roach problem, the pest people sprayed once a month and even tried to help me figure out where they were coming from or how to avoid them. I am a very clean person so I never left dishes in the sink and did everything I was supposed to do to avoid it but they kept coming. I finally was able to get rid of them completely by month 6 or 7 by doing homemade solutions and buying a bunch of traps and bug bombs. For the price I was paying bugs shouldn’t be a problem. The maintenance team is great and timely! The gym is amazing and the on-site grocery store is convenient when it is stocked. The area is super walkable, cute and right across from a rail. I never had any parking issues or any other issues. The pool area is just okay I feel like it could be better for the price. There are extra charges tacked on to the base rent that are explained upfront so make sure to budget. For the price my experience was just okay, the bug issue I had to resolve myself but overall it’s a decent place to live.

Okay so there’s a lot to cover in my review overall I’m happy with my Loft style apartment. I have a great experience so far at The Access here are my Pros & Cons

The Good:

1. There is always parking and the parking lot is secure.
2. The building is secure and not just anyone can get access to the parking garage, elevator or hallways. We have key fobs.
3. The garage will lead you to your apartment or you can use the elevator. (Easy to haul groceries)
3. My neighbors are quiet
4. Maintenance comes next day
5. The is onsite security
6. Leasing office staff are friendly and helpful
7. No bugs or pest
8. Nice location

Areas of opportunity:

1. The parking garage needs a power wash and the hallway walls and floors need to be cleaned, that will make a world of a difference in appearance.
2. The gym is nice however some equipment is damaged/old and needs to be replaced.

Overall I’m pleased with The Access, I recommend you stop by and take a look.

Did 15 months here and am so glad to be done! The access is nice upon first touring but that’s the only real positive experience I had. This property stinks and is poorly kept. It was embarrassing to have guests over to the point I just stopped inviting company. The maintenance tries their best but are likely understaffed and underpaid (and have been for the duration of my lease). They send frequent emails asking tenants to clean after themselves but after nearly a year and a half I can confirm that nothings changes. A new complex is opening up across the street, not sure who the management company is but I’m sure at least in the near future it’ll be a much nicer place to stay at.

We recently moved into The Access Apartments from a different state, and the experience has been good. Antonio and Berry were especially helpful in making our move smooth and stress-free. Antonio, in particular, has gone above and beyond by assisting us with various repairs around the apartment. He continues to be a great help and is always friendly and approachable. We're grateful to have met such a kind and supportive person here.

We also want to give a special thanks to Nikki, who was incredibly helpful while we were still in our previous state. Her assistance made the transition much easier for us when we were in previous state.

The only downside is that some pet owners don't pick up after their pets, which most of the times it leaves an unpleasant smell at the entrances. Other than that, everything about the place is nice. Overall, our transition has been much easier thanks to the helpful staff who are Anthonio, Berry and Nikki at The Access Apartment.

I recently moved out of The Access and while the unit itself was spacious and nice, the overall complex left a lot to be desired.

Pros:

• The unit was well-designed, spacious, and comfortable. While not the cheapest option, it felt worth it for the quality of the space.
• The gym was decent—not a full fitness center but a nice amenity to have.

Cons:

• Cleanliness: The hallways and stairwells were often dirty with dog waste left around and rarely cleaned up. I understand it’s the responsibility of pet owners, but management seemed to ignore the issue. The garage was also in rough shape, consistently dirty and poorly maintained.
• Management and Communication: I was sent to collections without any prior notification about a fee. A simple call or email could have avoided this mess entirely.
• Overall Condition: The common areas felt neglected and unkept. I thought about contacting the city for an inspection because, from what I saw, it seems like they’d have issues passing one. Still might call them after getting sent to collections lol.

Overall:
4/10. The unit itself was great, but the dirty state of the complex made it hard to truly enjoy living here. I can’t recommend it to anyone. I swear it smells like dog poop and pee in 65-70% of the entire complex.

Moved in about a week ago. Love the staff and maintenance team! Very helpful and easy to communicate with. Antonio is very nice! I was struggling to move my package and he helped without hesitation and it was before his shift started. An amazing community! The only thing I dislike is that some pet owners don’t pick up their pet’s poop n just leave it as it is. Other than that everything about the place is nice.

I’ve been living at The Access for almost 3 months, I love my unit and the staff, they’re very friendly and always willing to help. The property itself is okay. Pet owners don’t pick up after their pets, others leave trash everywhere, and there are some community fees that I don’t appreciate, (but they are in your contract, so make sure you read through it) maintenance team is always on top of their game, Antonio, Terry, and Marvin always go above and beyond to make sure the property and residents are taken care of. The location is convenient which is a plus, overall it is a decent place to live.

I've lived here for a little over a year now and am happy with the place. You do get what you pay for, which is much more than can be said for most of the surrounding communities. The units are Beautiful and spacious. The leasing office is responsive during business hours, especially when seen in person. People are friendly and largely keep to themselves which I appreciate. Where this place really shines though is the Maintenance crew. Antonio specifically is knowledgeable, on-time, hard-working, and most importantly always responsive. He really goes above and beyond to ensure that residents are taken care of.
