They have a great amount of stuff there, but actually FINDING what you want... including someone that works there to help you, is the difficult part. And NOTHING is priced. Asked for something specific, including brand name, that it was the multi pack, and pointed at it, only to find out that I was sold (they carried it to the check out and put it in a bag without me being able to see it) was the wrong thing, and instead of it costing a couple of dollars, what I got was one item that cost twice as much. Sure, it works, but it cost double for one instead of half for several.

Oh, and there's an additional charge for using a debit card...really?!!! Had I known, I would have paid cash. So, they have lots of stuff but finding what you want is a challenge, it's expensive, and if you don't pay cash, it's more expensive.
It's also the only hobby shop on this side of Sacramento...sigh.

Just read the other reviews and judge for yourself. If there was another option, I would have gone there, but I was desperate, but I won't ever be that desperate again.

Staff has no idea what most things are. I went in for rc rcrawler tires and wheels, not a hard one. Guy had no idea and pulled out a bin of miss matched parts. He had me look through there, I found something but not what I was after. Unhelpful and unknowable, during Covid this place was better. Wouldn’t be hard to overtake the rc side of this place, can’t sell what you don’t know

So let me start off by saying this, these two recent one star reviews are complete B.S. I Have been coming to Fast track for Years Since they were Behind sunrise, then Auburn Blvd , Then 5 star Blvd. and now near Loomis,
These Guys are in my opinion awesome. I don't really do cars , I fly model planes, However I have gotten some RC cars from here for my son and even built a drift car for my wife , I've rented Slot cars for my son to play with when dad and son are out having a Dude day, So this review is coming from experience not just someone who got good service one time so here it goes

The owner: Dwight simply one of the nicest guys I have met in the hobby, I have on 2 separate occasions come into the shop and built YES, BUILT model airplanes, one I purchased from the shop one I did not. super kind to let me sit at the table and just build and if I needed parts, I'm at a hobby shop best place to build, I would Gladley have paid a fee to use the space but nope he was kind enough to just let me build for free, no other shop has done that.

Employee: Dell. Highly knowledgeable in all aspects of this hobby. from crawlers to aircraft, I have flown with Dell, and I hate to admit it but he's a better pilot than I am, as well as a model flight instructor at AMOS RC field.

Employee: Tony - Incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to RC cars, I was going to get my son a specific RC car and was advised against it for the simple fact that parts availability for that little truck was hard or non existent to get at the time. I heeded his advice.

To the whole Fast Track Team thank you for being a place where I can support local, not have to order online & just a cool place to meet likeminded hobbyists and gain knowledge.

Worst mistake was spending over 3000$ at this place and thinking they would take care of me on further purchases second worse mistake was hiring that guy Justin and promoting him to manger ?!?! With zero communication or customer service skills Owner must really love losing business.
Anyways I hope to save most of you the time and effort. If you’re looking for a shop to spend some real money on and has good customer service from managers I suggest you look elsewhere.

I'm going to start off by saying these people don't care about you or your business and their choice of mangers is ridiculous. I feel like a manger should have customer service down before being promoted however that's not the case here specificity Justin that guy thinks he's superior to others and speaks with cocky tone. Very unprofessional and rude person to be a manger. However most of the remaining staff are amazing including Quincy and Tony it's just unfortunate that they have that worker that just lost this place thousands of dollars. And customers that have the money but want customer service. If you're reading this I really hope you don't frustrate your self with these people like I did. AVOID!

Super great place to get rc cars or parts. Every time I come in the customer service is awesome. Everyone is really informative and will walk you through how to fix your issue without being condescending or making it too difficult to understand. 100 percent recommend everyone I know to swing by even if it's to just rent some slot cars and race for a few. Love this place. Bought my Xmaxx and 4tec VXL here! Great inventory and always answer the phone when you call and try to help you unlike RC Country Club...Down to earth people and chill environment. Be patient they are busy but that’s a good thing right?! I don’t go anywhere else

I shopped here to support local store; unfortunately it turned out to be the worst experience ever. They have a bunch of kids working there (literally one was like seven years old); they were unfriendly, helpless, and really rude when I took a product that didn’t work for us. They have no return policy and regardless if the item works for you or not; they will simply refuse to help you. I spent over $200 and was waste of money since the item didn’t work for me and these people didn’t help to return it to the factory it was made or just help me out in general. Very disappointing and will never return to a local toy store in the future. It’s best to buy from corporate who are friendly enough to work with you when you have problems. The little boys who work there need to be taught customer service and clean language as it’s a toy store and young kids come to visit. They used horrible language to each other loud and was an appropriate place for my kids to be shopping. Never again here!
